The throw is strong without overpowering you. I can smell it as I am walking up the stairs to my office. The life of the candle is worth the price point. I am a doctoral student and I spend A LOT of time in my office. It sets a great feeling/energy to my space and school day. My candle is ALWAYS burning. Whatever notes are used, the combination is outstanding. This is my "FOREVER" go-to spot for candles.

This scent is more floral than woody. Not so heavy that it gives you a headache. The quality of the candle and vessel is top notch. If you love black (vessel) and gold (inside the vessel) then Noted Expressions is for you. She also offers beautiful gift wrapping which is absolutely worth the added charge.
Before I even got to the smelling the candle, I was admiring how beautiful the packaging is. I wanted something light and calming and Anne was great at helping me pick this specific candle. The candle smells absolutely amazing! Each time I burn it, it just has this calming fragrance that you can't help but feel like you are somewhere on an island. These are wonderful as gifts as well, especially if you are looking for something elegant!!
I've never really been a candle person myself (I leave that up to my wife) but this could be what converts me. This candle has an excellent clean burn to it. To be honest, I don't even know what Black Velvet fragrance is but sign me up because the smell was not only amazing but a very inviting aroma to have when welcoming guest into our home. And the aroma is on half of the appeal, the packaging of this candle was NEXT level. The look and smell of this candle made this product a 10 out of 10. I can't wait to smell some of the other fragrances and will definitely be recommending this product to other candle lovers that I know.
The scent of this candle is intoxicating! Its not overbearing but just right for wherever you put it. It is the perfect scent for me , not sweet. The amber and musky notes are invigorating! A must have!
